They'll just reconfirm that the writers of those transcripts were mostly embellishing stories to

give support and credence to their own great and mighty god of their own selective culture.

People to this day are still comprehending those writings as if were actual fact based reality,

which just reconfirms the frailty of the human psyche and intellect.

Shouldn't the title of the bible really be " Ancient Stories of Human Ignorance " ?

or maybe " Spiritually Inspired Bullshit "

Confirmation on statement made at assembly this past weekend

i received a message on my telephone voice mail by a person who attended a jehovah's witness assembly this past weekend.

i believe the assembly was in michigan.

the caller told me it was announced from the platform that if a person is not attending the meetings on a regular basis active witnesses should not be associating with them.

vacuums

ok, i'm going to get something straight right now.

vacuums are not my forte.

however, i have the option of getting one of these at work for $99--half price.

I purchased a Miele last year one of their top of the line ones and am very happy with it, its very quiet, cleans extremely well and built extremely well.

They are considered the Mercedes of Vacuum cleaners for good reason.

They are the top rated cleaners in most consumer reports.

I don't mind paying more for real quality, that lasts and this is what Miele gives you.

Electrolux used to be one of the best, but they are not as good as they used to be, different marketing strategy I think.

The only down side is they cost a lot more, but in reality you'll make up for it in its longevity.

Is it worth upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7?

i'm running vista home premium on my dell inspiron.

dell custom build to your requirements and i went for 4gb of ram from the start (almost 2 years ago).

i know vista has been much maligned but honestly, i've had no problems with it.

Linux just announced that they have placed into their recent upgrade, TRIM optimization in their OS......good !

True to what you say about viruses regarding Windows but there are still much more programs that need Windows to operate properly.

With the latest Anti-virus programs like Norton 2010 or AVG you cant hardly tell there is one there running in the background.

This all comes down of course to how new your system is, with the combination of these new CPU's , RAM etc.

and these new Anti-virus programs they have done away with system slow down which was of course an obvious problem in the past.

Conversion Went Badly

my aunt's father, a formerly life-long adherent to the apostolic church, became a witness last year.. i just learned he went to the last assembly and died.

tripped and hit his head on an armrest.. i'm waiting for the next round of email that talks about jehovah protecting his people with guardian angels.

maybe he missed the memo that this guy was entitled to divine intervention..

I'd suggest reading the whole article , one other thing I should mention is WIN 7 has been optimized for SDD in the use of a drive cleaning

program called TRIM, this is what I mention before about you never have to worry about Defragging any more. I have a OCZ's Vertex 120g

with Win. 7 as an OS. and it just flys.
